I have advocated for this breed since my start into dog/animal rescue, volunteer work, many years ago.... and I will continue until my voice & body no longer able me. After reading this post^ I suppose I also feel a kinship with them since being a sex worker also illicits the same types of reactions from people when they know of my work. They too have misconceptions about sex workers, and our work, and often because of hear say and misconstrued/false information. Pit bulls and any dog that falls in their category, are dogs, in the end, and are as lovely a companion as we allow them to be.
